Ami Robertson - Anxiety, the discipline needed for self care and the power of journalling.

Today we hear from Ami Robertson. Ami owns her own brand and wedding photography business, the woman and the wolf.

Ami is well known for being very open about her own challenges with her mental health. Ami talks to me about being in a coercive controlling relationship and how that taught her to set strict boundaries with everything in her life.

We discuss toxic positivity, self care, the power of gratitude and journaling and the joys of being your own boss. Ami has been consciously working on herself for the past 2 years to implement huge positive change in her life and Ami admits this is a daily practice that requires discipline.

Ami goes into detail about the things that have really helped her to try and tip the balance in favour of her mental and physical health and I personally found this interview incredibly insightful and uplifting and I’m sure you will too.

Mental health and happiness is not as simple as arriving at a destination. It takes work everyday. How can we help to tip the balance in favour of our mental health?
We can all admit to wishing we had more balance in our lives. How many times have you said, "I just don't have the right balance at the moment."
